A Time for "Believe" again!! New Outlook on depression and missions

There is I am sure now the need to bring depression and other mental issuses out of the shadows. Jane Pauley has a really poignant program on PBS.Org. I know for sure that the missions I have gone on and the other "good' things' we do for our fellow man are therapeutic. Still though we are keeping mental issues out of the main stream of medicine and even our usual gathierings of society: churches, schools, sports, etc. More on this later as I join a Campbell Pharm golf outing. this morning. Main thing is that we should pray for those who have depression for whatever reason, and hopefully society will look on the areas in a more open fashion, and people will seek help withour feeling ashamed or ostracized.
