Bill Veterelli, a very special visionary of Micronesia, a Quaker and peace maker.







He died Jan 20, 2010, another one of these 01/20/2010 days. I just happened to call Janice, his daughter, out of the blue and then Bam--she told me it just happened!! I called Ginger Curtis later. She had not heard. He was 99 years old!!!
I am so glad I got to know and interview him 3 years ago. We were connected through Truk (Chuuk), Micronesia and Russ and Verna Curtis in the early 70'.
He and James Michener were good friends from student days in Buck County, Penn. God Rest his soul.
